This weeks theme over at Written Inc is "perspective" I have never really thought of the practical sense of the word other than I sometimes use it to illustrate a different way of looking at things which really does not give justice to the word itself.
I was thinking of how I can photograph something that clearly demonstrates its title, I got this idea from a three point perspective picture of a shed from an angle that shows two sides and a top typical of a 3D item complete with its vanishing points.
I like this shot and I highlighted my wife's shoes simply because she never puts them away :) she does not see it that way but that's her perspective or is it prerogative?

You know, the monochromatic image with all the rustic woodgrain makes this feel very old... then there's that pop of modern and bright and new. As if the photograph depicts the clashing perspectives of youth versus the aged. At any rate, it appeals to me.

my shoes are a work of art! They are not left lying about but placed in a room to add colour...see!
I love this picture Den.
OMG this is wonderful. It so captures the theme of this. I love the monochrome. Mine are nothing compared to this. I think prerogative for the wife does add color :) Well done my friend :)
Thanks smarmoofus!
Thanks sha. your shoes are as amazing as you.
Thanks Thom but your perspective and images are beautiful.
I LOVE the feel of this photo! And I think highlighting the shoes actually deepens the perspective! Very nice!
Definitely a woman's prerogative -- I'm guilty here as well -- but it makes for a good photo! :)
Did this photograph make her change her perspective? ;)
Perspective on so many levels. This picture is brilliant...and I can't get the backstory out of my head.
[Heads to the vestibule to make sure his own shoes are put away...]

Just LOVE this shot Dennis!
Superb way of showing perspective - you kick ass!

This is great Dennis the color of the shoes is perfect at drawing the viewers attention to the center of the photo... just wonderful!
I just like this a lot. It draws the eyes in so many different directions. And then there are the shoes. I like looking at this ... just what a photograph should be :)
