barn owl pellet - Thematic Photographic

I am sorry for those with a weak stomach so you might not want to read on, this pellet is what the Barn Owl cannot digest and so regurgitates after its meal, why am I taking a photo of this? Simply because it is fascinating! Tomorrow I will reveal the contents of the pellet and you will be amazed at what I find.

This pellet is actually grey but its so grey it actually looks green, maybe the bird was feeling a little under the weather, and look at the single shoot of green grass in the foreground.

Believe it or not Owl pellets are big business and you can actually buy them online, I found this one on a shoot out in the Rother Valley.
